Interviews with 7 Presiding Bishop Nominees
Our goals for the event:
  • Educate students on convention including history, polity, dress, presentation, terminology, What is G.C.?; How does G.C. work? How to communicate, report, write a resolution, follow legislation through the convention. Above all, look for Christ in G.C. actions.
  • Experience the “inner gears” of convention. Participate in hearings, exhibit hall, worship, House of Deputies, House of Bishops, etc. Help them be fully part of this convention.
  • Empower the students. To give a positive experience that will influence them to return home and become active participants in all areas of their own parish, diocese, etc., and be catalysts for growth in the church where needed.
